Information stored on your device
To remember your choices and provide learning features, the app stores the following information locally on your device:
- favorite Names, duas, and hadiths;
- memorization progress and quiz results;
- your manually selected prayer city and prayer calculation preference; and
- language and appearance preferences.
This information is not sent to us or stored on our servers. You can clear memorization progress from Settings, and uninstalling the app removes its locally stored information according to your device's normal behavior.
Location and device sensors
The app does not request or collect your GPS location. You select a city manually for prayer-time and Qibla calculations.
On supported devices, the Qibla compass reads the device magnetometer to determine compass direction. These readings are processed temporarily on your device, are not retained by the app, and are not transmitted to us or any third party.
Analytics, advertising, and tracking
The app does not include advertising, analytics, tracking technologies, user accounts, or cloud synchronization. We do not create user profiles or track activity across other companies' apps or websites.
External links and donations
The app contains optional links to independent third-party websites, including donation services and charitable organizations. When you choose to open one of these links, you leave the app. Any information you provide on those websites is governed by the third party's own privacy policy and is not collected or processed by Asma ul Husna.
Children's privacy
The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children or adults. Because no personal data is collected by the app, we do not maintain personal information about children.
Security
Your preferences and learning activity remain in the app's local storage on your device. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and its backups.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy if the app's features or data practices change. The revised policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date. If a future version begins collecting data, its App Store privacy disclosure will also be updated.
